I purchased a Venetian gondola from Wooden Boat USA in June 2023, and I have to say, it’s been an amazing purchase! Right from the start, I could tell the craftsmanship was top-notch. The boat is still as beautiful as the day I got it, and the ride is just incredible. Very poor experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone looking to acquire a quality wooden boat. I’d ordered the Real Whitehall Dinghy Transom Cut Out 17 from «Wooden Boat USA» 1) owing to poor storage before shipping and cheap packaging, my dinghy arrived mildewed inside and in poor shape. Obviously it had stayed in the rain for some time… 2) shoddy workmanship: many inside slats had been cut too short, the shortfall being made up by cheap & highly visible white pine patches. 3) the cheap oar rings didn’t fit the oars: I had to buy... read more
