Absolutely a joke. Nowhere to fish unless you have a boat or own the land on the edge of the lake. The family fun and friendly depiction of this lake is false. Fishing's not that great either. I recommend somewhere else.
This small lake is a clear water reservoir for the local water system. Therefore the level never fluctuates. The ramp is at least 3 boats wide with ample gravel parking lot for 8 or more boat trailers. There is a $5 ramp fee (2025). New store-bait shop with bathrooms and courtesy dock. The ramp is not slick and is very low slope. One of the best in the state. The road to the dock is very narrow and winding as it comes down the steep hill. There is a tight hairpin turn at the top. Park assistant was helpful. Area is clean. Several restrictions such as boat size and no inboard motors. Clean restrooms and no party people.
