Dr. Wood resolved an issue I had from a prior surgery in a timely manner, my eye improved dramatically, I am very grateful for his expertise and his concern for his patients.
The staff was wonderful from start to finish … Michael the tech gave me the most through eye testing between dilating my eyes and doing all the necessary tests for glaucoma , checking retina and pictures that dr woods needed to diagnose my vision problem .Dr wood was very caring and through as well and made me feel at ease after have been to a previous eye specialist , dr wood diagnosis was totally more understandable and told me that cataract surgery was not needed right now I have a follow up appt in 3 months to see if my ... read more
The staff was on time and very proficient in their testing, Dr Wood was professional and determined the cause of my left eye disorientation for close up reading. Although it is a normal part of my aging process, he helped with suggestions for better lighting and LED magnification. He is keeping close watch every 6 months to see if my eyes progress to wet macular degeneration. He will then refer me to a retina specialist for injections.
My parents and uncle who all had special eye problems were treated with respect and detailed individualized care plans. Dr. Woods would carefully explain their eye care plans. He listened to their questions and concerns in a patient and caring manor. I am greatful for the outstanding eye care I have received including cataract surgery.
Have seen him for many years. Very caring, kind and thorough. Did my 2 cataract surgeries. Both successful, no problems.
Dr. Wood and his entire staff answer all of my questions and explain everything well. I appreciated the extensive information they gave me before I had my cataract surgery, which was done in their in-house surgical unit (much more comfortable than a hospital), and I now have 20/20 vision.
Thoroughly explains exam results is professional and personable. Staff is also professional and friendly.
I see Dr. Wood for severe dry eye issues. He didn’t just treat the issue but tried to friend the cause as well, something I appreciate. I really don’t like just having meds thrown at me! He always takes time to explain what the problem is and involves me in treatment decisions. Highly recommend!
