My husband and I went for our ten year anniversary. The service was great and the food was out of this world good! We had four small plates and they were all incredible!

There aren't many places I would feel comfortable telling the bartender to 'make me whatever', but i've yet to be disappointed at Wood (ask for Tommy). The bar staff's mixology knowhow is impressive, so do yourself a solid and mix up your usual order. Inside this Lakeview gem is more than the must-have tagliatelle and warm ambiance, but a place you can't help but enjoy spending time in. If you need a light nosh (um, starch) other than pasta, the fries are a guilty pleasure of mine. Enjoy.
Great restaurant in the Lakeview neighborhood .. perfect location for after the afternoon Cubs game .. nice selection .. small menu ..Beet Salad was yummy as well as Scallops .
