When I became disenchanted with the experiences with my previous Ophthalmologist, I decided to switch to Dr. Jeffrey Wong at the Honolulu Eye Clinic at Queen's Hospital (annex). I was immediately pleased by the efficient, professional, caring staff and the modern facilities. Dr. Wong's staff is excellent, efficient and caring. Dr. Wong is caring, patient, and explains things in a way that you will understand. My vision was starting to get a bit fuzzy, which because I have Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes was not a surprise, but I thought maybe it was time for glasses. What I found was that I had specialized fast growing cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Wong explained that I could safely wait until they were interfering with my daily living or hobbies.
