I absolutely do not recommend coming here solely because of their front desk staff, Kimmy (or however you spell it). She verified my insurance incorrectly and charged me out of pocket expenses, told me that it’s because my insurance considers all imaging as major imaging (which is an absurd statement to make and NOT TRUE after confirming with my insurance company MYSELF with the CPT codes, which she would know if she verified my insurance correctly). To begin, I LOVED my NP I saw she was incredible. NOW... I have been working with this company since November to get in for an IUD removal. I was referred there by my Primary gynecologist because my IUD is unable to be retrieved. It took us a full month in December of phone tag to get something booked and they pushed it out to MARCH from there. My experience in office was pleasant and quick. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance for April 3rd. However, on the same day—just before I was about to leave for the hospital—I received a call from their office saying my insurance was no longer accepted due to a corporate change. This last-minute notice was very frustrating and ended up wasting my time, especially since it was for my wife’s first trimester visit. With her expected to complete the first trimester in about three weeks, we are now struggling to find an appointment with another hospital in time.
I love it. my nurse practitioner is absolutely amazing. I feel so validated and I have struggled Be validated by medical field. They actually like take your pain seriously and overall I really enjoy going there. They also will explain to you what’s going on and help you understand . Honestly, if I could have her as a primary provider, I would so do that.
I had my annual exam today and everything went well. Dr. Desai is my gynecologist and she has always been caring. I have never had problems with reaching the staff or talking with them. I am surprised to see so many negative reviews on here by others regarding their experiences if they have a different doctor. Also, if I can't reach them via phone, I utilize the patient portal for questions.
