I was just called 8:30pm and was told my induction appointment for 6:30am tomorrow was being cancelled. After planning my children’s schedules and family taking time off from work, including my husband and my father to help with my other children. I am unsure how this is correct professional etiquette or how ethical and moral this action is. Absolutely ridiculous.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional facility. Called at 830pm and cancelled our 630am induction citing no real reason. Hinted at patients with emergent needs and then said bed space. All in all just a circle of uncaring and unprofessional conduct. I took off a week from work. Other members of my family have taken off work to help support our other children. My experience, from walking into the ER to staying in Labor and Delivery & the ICU, was nothing short of amazing.
