this is by far the worst hospital ever. after canceling my wifes labor induction ( who is high risk due to her age ) that was scheduled a week before they waited till 420 the day before after we had both put in our vacation days and family was on their way from out of town .then the following day the day we were supposed to have been induced my wifes water broke while I was at work so we flew almost wrecking at one point on a 1 hr drive to tuscaloosa only to be told she wasnt in labor even tho she was having equally spaced t... read more
Absolutely unprofessional in the women’s pavilion center- referring to the night shift as I must add. I do not recommend this place first baby was a yes but it’s been several years should’ve rechecked the reviews cause if I would’ve I definitely wouldn’t be back up here! Labor, contractions, water breaking & he is wanting us to go home (Dr chwe) cause he is not the doctor for the patient. I was just called 8:30pm and was told my induction appointment for 6:30am tomorrow was being cancelled. After planning my children’s schedules and family taking time off from work, including my husband and my father to help with my other children. I am unsure how this is correct professional etiquette or how ethical and moral this action is. Absolutely ridiculous.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional facility. Called at 830pm and cancelled our 630am induction citing no real reason. Hinted at patients with emergent needs and then said bed space. All in all just a circle of uncaring and unprofessional conduct. I took off a week from work. Other members of my family have taken off work to help support our other children. My experience, from walking into the ER to staying in Labor and Delivery & the ICU, was nothing short of amazing. I wasn't expecting to give birth at this hospital—it was the closest to us at the time. When complications arose during labor, Dr. Chwe and the nurses acted with immediate, calm precision.
