I had a biopsy done. Doctor was wonderful and very gentle. Kept asking if i was ok and explained everything that happened during the procedure. Unfortunately, the nurse who helped said something to me no person who is BRCA positive should hear before a biopsy. That my rate was really high for cancer since im BRCA positive. Like 85 to 90%. No one should tell a patient that before a biopsy. Its stressful enough going through the procedure let alone being told you are going to get cancer cause your BRCA positive.
