The doctors are great and attentive, however there is a waitlist for EVERYTHING!!! I need a reasonable accommodation note from the doctor and the nurse told me it would take 7-10 days to literally say I’ll be leaving work early for prenatal care appointments. I had to schedule an anatomy scan and guess what it had a wait list. To be on a waitlist while being HIGH RISK IS UNACCEPTABLE. Women with High risk pregnancies should be treated carefully. I was referred here by the Logan Heights Clinic last month. I have yet to be able to schedule an appointment with them. I am already 18 weeks pregnant and yet to receive any prenatal care done because I have not had the ability to make an appointment. I am considered high risk because I was open and honest with the doctors Logan Heights Clinic just to be referred to a place that can't do something as simple as schedule me an appointment and actually return my phone calls. It's stressful and depressing.

Danielle I first called in La Jolla was splendid in doing all she could to get me care quickly. She took her time to help me get the right referral and authorization. I will always be grateful to her. Then Leah in the Hillcrest office was splendid also because she called as soon as she received the referral Danielle helped me obtain.

The office and check in were fine but I recommend that if you have “ ELIANA DEUTSCH” as one of your nurses, request someone else. She was the most unprofessional, uncaring, and insensitive health care worker I have ever experienced. I left this appointment in TEARS from how awful my experience was. She didn’t listen to me, she didn’t tell me anything new about my baby, and made it known that she did not want to show me my baby on an ultrasound, but eventually did once I told her that the front office said it shouldn’t be an ... read more
