I saw Dr. Elizabeth Kontarines and honestly the appointment felt rushed and the transvaginal ultrasound experience was especially off putting…frankly she just kind of shoved it in there and when I said I was in pain she just gave me a confused look…I offered to try inserting it myself and she gave me maybe 7 seconds before abruptly switching to an abdominal ultrasound while snidely asking how I get through Pap smears. Dr. Miller is always so considerate of me and listens to me, it’s been a huge relief to have my concerns taken seriously. I loved this team of physicians and other staff during my last pregnancy. Rebecca at the front desk went above and beyond to find a place that could get me in for an ultrasound after I had some concerns following birth and the usual radiology places were all booked. I've never left a review like this before but feel like I have to. This practice failed to inform me of alarming test results simply due to carelessness. The result of my delayed diagnosis will be lifelong. Please look for a different practice! I've heard many similar stories about Women's Health Associates. Please be cautious!
Walked out before I got my pants off. I felt unseen, unheard, and dismissed. When the clinical staff cannot overcome the dinginess of the physical office, it’s time to look elsewhere for compassionate care and comfort.
