They have my 10yr old daughter waiting on Labs, Bloodwork, & XRay because their Computers & Internet is down. They the Dr called in for a Verbal Order & they said they can't take a Verbal Order because their Computer is down. Like WTF. REALLY.
All they care about is getting money and not about how sick you are. Worst hospital! So wish my doctor was at LGMC so I wouldn't have to come to this hell hole!
I'm from Eunice. I brought my little girl to the Eunice ER and they literally laughed at me and told me that I shouldn't have brought her to the emergency room for high fever and a rash. They said it was just a viral infection and sent us on our way. Needless to say, my little girl got worse and our family doctor sent us to Woman and Children's. I was admitted here because of a high rick pregnancy with intent to deliver a premature baby. MY overall stay was pretty good. But if we talk about my BABIE'S stay in the NICU; that's different. Nurses play favortism. The secretaries to check into the NICU are completly RUDE! (Donna in particular) My 13 year old daughter was refused to see her younger sister because she didn't have a pictured ID. I explained elementary kids in our area do not have an ID. I wouldn't even give this hospital one star. I had my son here in 2015. They sent an on call dr to break my water, and instead of breaking it completely he just poked a hole and let it drain slowly which caused my son to get fluid in his lungs. They then admitted him to NICU where they proceeded to keep him way longer than needed claiming there was still something wrong with him just to get more money (I am not the first person I have talked to that had had the same problem). They need better security I was afraid to walk to my car last night. They had a bunch of thugs hanging out around their cars. I felt very unsafe
Last night i brought my 4 mth old son in to see why hes been running fever, coughing and sneezing...they ran rsv/flu test, gave an iv took blood and urine and took xrays and they couldnt tell me a diagnoses and told me to follow up with his primary doctor. So i did..well his doctor was sending him to do a second rsv test...not 30 min of leaving his dr appointment the nurse calls me to tell me that the rsv test the hospital took was positive!!! So im wondering is to why they told me it was negative...
