As a first time mom my birthing experience was not what I was expecting at all! We experienced complications during labor which resulted in an emergency c-section, my baby was admitted to the NICU for 20 days. I was absolutely devastated and heartbroken. Because of the phenomenal care and compassion that was provided by the staff and team at Woman And Infants hospital our NICU premie is growing by leap and bounds. If you have to have a c-section and breast feeding I'd suggest a hospital with a nursery. It's so painful to get up and down all night with the incision and trying to stay ahead of the pain is hardly possible. You just need a little more help to recover from a c-section.
Absolute worst experience for me and my wife was told by a professional pediatrician that another man was sleeping with my baby. Now because I flipped out and told them all off which was out of line I admit. My wife is allowed only one hour a day and was just told now after talking to numerous people she can't go after 3pm. They say they want what's best for the baby but what's best for the baby is being with her mother. These people can say do whatever they want to people and are not held accountable.
