My daughter was a patient here for ten years until this week. She suddenly developed very scary symptoms including extreme fatigue(sleeping for 16 hrs on the weekend), hair falling out, pica, etc. My husband called the office and requested a sick appointment and Connie said the earliest she could get seen was in 10 days. Dr. Shana is the best. She is one of the last of a dying breed of doctor who actually cares about and knows your children. She is not an urgent care and is just one doctor. This is why we love Dr Shana. She knows our kids, and remembers them well so we aren’t just a number there. People complaining about Connie are over sensitive. She isn’t overly bubbly but she has always done her job well. One time when my wife was dealing with a toddler having a temper tantrum Connie carried our newborn out to the car for her.
I’ve been taking my children to this office for years, but nearly every time I call for a sick child appointment, Dr. Shana is unavailable to see my daughter. This has happened three times since August 2024. When my 18-year-old went to college and got sick, he called her office to request a prescription refill but was told she could no longer help him as she was no longer his doctor.
