The office staff was argumentative, unpleasant and unhelpful in getting a prescription, even when I told them what had to happen in order for me to get it. Then got a call from the doctor lecturing and screaming at me because he wants his staff to be able to treat patients any condescending way they feel. I’m sorry I don’t feel like be talked down to and lectured to. Avoid going at all costs

This man doesn't hear a word I say. He simply has formulaic responses to nearly every question. He skips answering any in-depth questions. While friendly, his office staff has NEVER returned a phone call. When I questioned him about the lack of return calls, he said he wasn't about to discuss customer service with me. Well, I have a new urologist who listens, has great experience and has a super team behind him. Wolfson has permanently lost any income he had coming from me.

I've seen this physician devoid of personality and communication skills for many years. Prostate monitoring. There are NO HIGHLY QUALIFIED UROLOGISTS IN THE DESERT. You must GO WEST for competent care.

I've never encountered a doctor who treated me with such disrespect. He didn't answer my questions, but instead interrupted me while I was asking them. The next week, I had an appointment with another urologist, showed him my lab results, and he actually gave me a diagnosis that makes sense...as opposed to Dr. Wolfson, who made me feel uncomfortable and didn't provide any information.

Unprofessional, rude, and a terrible listener. He made some very odd comments that he thought were amusing, but I felt were insulting and sophomoric. He wrote some other patient's notes in my chart, and then when he asked me about symptoms I never had, tried to insinuate that I changed my story...rather than just apologizing for making an error. He was so arrogant that I almost walked out while he was speaking...wish I had.

I have had kidney stones for years, lots of painful moments. It wasn't until I met Dr. Wolfson, a couple years ago after being in the hospital for kidney stones, that things changed. Dr. Wolfson prescribed several medications for my condition; I no longer have kidney stone incidents. My life is so improved. So grateful.

It took 3 months to get an appointment with this doctor. In the end, I wasn't able to see him and the appointment had to be canceled because they needed blood work that had nothing to do with my issues. So I wasted 3 months for nothing! Aren't doctors supposed to listen to their patients' needs instead of having us do over and over again useless blood work that makes no sense since they aren't related to any of my problems?

Excellent rating. Both professional and personable. We need more like him.

We were referred to Dr. Wolfson because Dad has an elevated PSA that is increasing rapidly and is likely cancer. Dad has other medical issues so if this were the only thing wrong with him we would have been way more alarmed. Dr. Wolfson was so thorough and clear in what was happening, what dad's options are, what the long game might look like and he was realistic. It was so refreshing. No BS, just a great dr that loves his patients. In the waiting room, there was a couple that had finished up with the dr and was checking out... read more
