I came to Wolfgang Steakhouse for my birthday. This is not a restaurant that we can afford on a regular occasion, but something we did for a special night. We ordered the crab cake appetizer, along with a NY strip steak and a Porterhouse for 2, with mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and asparagus. My company will usually take business partners here when they're in town. My partner and I really enjoyed ourselves and our meal was spot on! I actually would recommend this place over Char due to the business/ upscale atmosphere and the welcoming hosts and staff!
James runs a tight ship—the best ever. Incredible service and food. I can’t decide which is better,I love this place for any time of the day.
The food is excellent, nicely prepared good quality. Always enjoyable to eat there. Great waiters. The wait at the bar was nice, too. Good wine and cocktails, well made. Get ready to shout all night, though, as the dining room is incredibly loud. Hard to hear the waiter at our table. There is a private room, but the door is never closed. The floor is wide open. We listened to 5 different rounds of shouting out the Happy Birthday song, both in the 'private' area and in the dining room. Felt a little like a Farrell's. $$$$

The food was bland (except for the lobster bisque which was REALLY salty), very small portions, way overpriced for what you get, plus our waiter was completely inattentive...took about 20 minutes just to get a refill on water, after asking. He asked how the food was and after telling him it wasn't great and could have been better. he didn't proceed to ask what the problem was.
