Inconsistency in food and service. One time great next time not so much.
Went there last night with my wife and family. I ordered the 20oz sirloin, as did my brother inlaw. This was hands down the worst steak I have ever had, I couldn't stomach more than two bits, neither could my brother inlaw. Absolutely no taste, not a hint of seasoning, nothing. Yuk! I would think that when you spend almost $200 for two steaks and drinks atleast the food would wouldn't taste like prechewed leather.
I loved that their menu items are locally sourced and everything from the salad dressings to desserts are made in house. Best tasting steak in town for sure!
Waitress messed up quit a bit and it took one hr just to get our salads.
Great ol skool local steakhouse. I enjoyed the lobster, and the desserts were amazing...I recommend the amazing carrot cake and the deep fried ice cream!
Have to say this was the only time it wasn't as good as normal. They had been open for 2 hours and were already out of Prime Rib. Then the steaks we did order were over cooked.
The food was good, other than they switched up the temperature of my husband and my steaks, so mine was overdone. It was really busy and it took forever to get my check so we were late to a show we were going to after. But the atmosphere was good :)
Great food and excellent service. House-made clam chowder was off the hook. My son had the pork shank special (very German) and it was great. My fillet was generous and cooked perfectly. Not cheap but worth the $$$$.
