Horrible place! Lazy people who aren't there to give you the right care. Unless you want to lose your limbs that's all they are good for doing. Nobody up there wants to take pride and actually fix the patient's. Why have wound care when they don't care for the patient? Hospital needs a big change, needs people who are committed to fix the problem instead of making things worse. The Hospital has no care, and it doesn't seem to be changing for the good. Lost 2 good hospitals for 1 that has failed this community.
I've had to come here due to a large surgical incision that would not close. I went through a crazy journey, with a very large wound. I've been coming here since the end of January (2025), still currently going. Every single staff member here is amazing, and have become like family over these months. My wound is almost completely healed now, and it is just mind-blowing. I am so, so thankful for every last person at the UPMC Wound Care Clinic. I wouldn't be where I am today without you all!
Saw a nurse or CNA greet a patient in the waiting room. She was so personable. Got down at eye level, complimented the patient, and the patient remembered her name. I could tell they really care.
Excellent care and everyone was very nice.
