We hired Wizard of Wood Floors to refinish our floors and stairs. We have worked with many contractors over the years; and, these guys were the best. They were great to work with. They showed up when they said they would, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. They followed the schedule and kept me informed along the way. Our floors look absolutely stunning. They turned out better than I could have imagined. I would definitely recommend them.
Refinishing project that should have taken just a few weeks is now going on three months and the work isn't complete. Supposed to be Bona certified but did a really sloppy job on the finish with hair and other contaminants literally all over the floor, swirl marks and uneven application. This was the second attempt after Bona confirmed their first attempt was incorrectly applied. I wish there was a way to upload pictures so you can see how badly a job they did. This company is the best! From the estimate to doing the actual job, they were prompt, efficient and fabulous work. Ray and his helper were courteous and explained everything. The finished early. Can't say enough about their almost dustless sanding process and the Bona finish. We have hardly any clean up. jfrguson91@sbcglobal.net
Warning Don’t use Wizard of Wood Floors if you want your finished floor to match existing floor color and shine. My entire first floor is wood with an orange/brown color with high gloss. The kitchen that Wizard of Wood Floors refinished is yellowish with low shine. It’s a complete mismatch and is obviously different from the rest of the house. The kitchen is a high traffic area.
