When we purchased the business three years ago, we were on a shoe string budget. We knew adding a CMC was going to be critical to improving our shops productivity. Working with Wizard in their lease program has been a no brainer for our operation. Having a lower cost to entry helped us control our costs early on, and the CMC has been a game changer for our team.
Buying my Wizard CMC back in 2016 was one of the best improvements I made to my business. I don't know how I ever ran a custom picture framing business without it. Productivity up. Creativity up. Thanks Wizard!
We've had Wizard products for years, and recently upgraded from the 8000 to the Z1. The upgrade itself was fairly straightforward, with the only issue being trying to use the old regulator, which didn't have enough pressure. Once that was sorted, it's been pretty smooth. We haven't had time to really explore the full range of the machine, but we've used the pen tool, which the client loved, and we've been able to blow through 8ply board like it's nothing. Looking forward to seeing what else we can do as time goes on!
Hi there! I retired from the Insurance business in 2008, and worked in a frame shop for 7 years, to learn the trade. That shop used a Wizard 5000 CMC, and we much appreciated it. We had very few problems, and any we had were quickly resolved by the Wizard staff. I bought the shop when my boss retired, and have been using that same Wizard 500 for the last 8 years. Though the Model 5000 is 20+ years old, I am still using it daily. Never used any other CMC, and don"t intend to start now . Charlie Cruse / The Frame Guy .
Been using Wizard for about 5 years now and I absolutely love the interface and finished product. Support is always available and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Can’t imagine framing without one!
