My son was treated by this wonderfully skilled compassionate surgeon. Every day I thank God that we found him. Within 10 minutes of meeting with the doctor I felt confident that my son was in the best hands. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wittig and his entire staff.

Dr. Wittig removed a sarcoma from my thigh. He provided meticulous care, great surgical technique and his care and follow up were the best I have ever experienced as a patient and physician. His reputation is well deserved as the absolute best in the field.
Meeting a doctor and getting told you have cancer never makes for a good day. Dr. Wittig is absolutely amazing! I felt extremely comfortable with him right away. From the moment he entered the room I immediately felt better and I wasn't scared of the tumor in the my leg anymore. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and very easily. Insurance problems were handled by his staff. I was scheduled for surgery 2 weeks later which i expected to have to wait longer than that. Four weeks ago I had a revision of a plate in my Rt Femur, because the plate was moving away from my bone and causing pain which made it difficult to walk. The surgery was done by Dr Wittig and his team. They were professional, compassionate but most of all knowledgeable. They explained every step of the procedure to me and I know I had the best care possible.
Dr. Wittig saved my life!! On January 2010 I was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma of my left femur bone. February 2010, Dr. James Wittig removed my entire left femur bone and replaced it with a prosthesis. It has been over 5 1/2 years and I have been alive, doing great and cancer free!! A knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. A caring and dedicated support staff. And, most important of all, the results that were expected.
I was referred to Dr. Wittig by another orthopedic surgeon. I had a total knee replacement done in 2006 and for the past three years my leg kept swelling on me. I come to find out that I fractured my tibia and had a lesion on the bone. Dr. Wittig took the old knee out and had a antibiotic spacer put in and two rods down the bone for six weeks.
