Wis Hope is NOT the place to go if you are withdrawing from benzodiazepines. The nurse practitioner refused to give me my taper medicine after only being there for 3-4 days as she told me verbatim, "withdrawals only last 5 days". I knew that was false but, I regrettably trusted her since it was her profession. The following day, I started vigorously shaking and told staff I was going to have a seizure.
