I appreciated the care and professional expertise demonstrated by the surgeon and the PA. The support staff demonstrated care toward me as the patient (in whatever capacity, ie. Nursing, Xray, surgery scheduling) .
From the very beginning everything about my treatment was explained clearly.
Dr. Wise in reviewing my care with WOA, realized that my knee was in need of being replaced after about 10 months of services provided by WOA. Surgery went well, hours after surgery I was using a walker and walking up and down a few steps. The day after surgery I was in PT and have been doing PT twice a week since surgery. 2 week follow up had staples removed and no longer using walker. I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas Wise for many years and he has seen me for various issues. He will give you all the information you need to make a deciision about any surgerie you may need without any pressure as to what you should or shouldn't do.
I was treated respectfully and my questions were answered thoroughly. I felt was though there were no surprises. I'm am very impressed how smooth the orthopedic service line functions. Everyone knows their stuff and strives to please and care for their customers.
Dr. Wise has a great team put together. I was well informed of what to expect each step of the way. I saw Dr Wise on my initial visit and pre-op and am scheduled to see him in 6 weeks. I had clear instructions on what to do when. His Get Well Loop gave me opportunity to get my concerns met and to be informed each step.
Everyone was very kind as qell as professional. My one comment would be to schedule better. There was always a long wait at the clinic. But Dr Wise visited several times at the hospital. Fabulous!
I felt very comfortable
Dr. Wise is very caring and easy to talk to. He answers all your questions and has 'a good bedside manner'. After surgery he is in constant contact to make sure all goes well. I would highly recommend Dr. Wise to anyone.
