On last Thursday, the day before my birthday...we went in to the little Wisconsin Vision by our house, to get fitted for new prescription reading glasses as I had lost mine at the hospital when having my total knee replacement. ��. Long and short of it...what was a simple eye test turned into them finding a retinal tear in the back of my left eye. The ladies at the front desk are very unprofessional and careless. They gave me another patient's contacts, never offered an apology, and had the nerve to give me an attitude when I asked for a refund. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!

Our insurance requires that we go to Wisconsin Vision or some other low cost places and I was concerned that the selection of frames would be very limited and dorky. I am a big fan of Ulla but I am on a tight budget. The staff seems overworked and frantic but they take time to help you get a pair that fits your face. I can't go anywhere without people commenting on how terrific I look. By that they mean that at 60 years old, I'm still in style and I do feel pretty groovy. Typical chain vision service--except they only staff a doctor a couple/few days a week-so lets say your trial contacts are scratching your eye-and you work 9-5 -->the doctor's part time schedule probably means you won't get in for 2 weeks to get the issue corrected. Otherwise the staff is fairly friendly and helpful.
