We were customers of WVC since 1995...through three dogs and two cats...until today. WVC now refuses to treat any animals who have previously been seen at any other vet clinic. This means that my itching, upset kitty Finn must suffer with his skin issues LONGER due to WVCs petulant and irrational business model. I can only wish that all doctors and employees of this practice catch the same illness they choose not to treat in an adorable, innocent cat. Nathaniel Parkinson.
Business response:
Mr. Parkinson, Thank you for your comments and your considerate well wishes for our health. We try to reserve our emergent appointments for our current clients. When you called you stated you were a client at Annabessacook Veterinary Hospital. You also said that they offered you an appointment time that didn’t suit you. They are an excellent hospital and I hope they were eventually able to help your kitty. You claim you have been a client since 1995 but we haven’t seen you or any of your pets since 2009. From the doctors and... read more
The staff is very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable of the needs of our pups. We were given an appointment without waiting 24 hrs. Love them all!
Unfortunately I don’t know how wonderful this practice is said to be because I was stopped in my tracks by the women who answered the phone. She did not introduce herself. I called my vet about an orthopedic injury and right away they said please call WVH or Norway. We will fax her chart if needed. I called WVH, told her what happened and she opened with a, “ok annnnnd?” To which I replied “so I’d like to make an appointment.” Nope-I needed a referral, I needed to see my own vet to make sure this was really the ailment, I ne... read more
They lost my animal's paperwork, were too busy too see them when needed, then did not send their records to a better clinic when requested. I would recomend using Pine Tree in Augusta instead. They have been very helpful, and are always available.
I have brought my bulldogs here for years, they have always been great! Today I had an emergency with my dog Micah and they managed to squeeze him in and give the surgery he needed when they were already very busy!! I have to give a shout out to Dr. Bryant for helping us today!! Thank you so very much!!
I so appreciate the love and medical help Dr Sheridan and Dr Bryant provided our pup. They both supported us on their days off. Thank you for everything!!
I love Dr. Sheridan she is the bomb❤️
Brought my kitten in with a fractured humorous they were able to get him in that day and the surgery done with in hours the whole staff and the surgeon were amazing and so helpful I plan to bring all my animals there now !! Thank you to you all for helping my lil koda get better he’s the sweetest lil boy i don’t know what I would have done with out you all 💕 I’d give them 5 stars if I knew how to do that 😅
Not treated well when trying to set up an appointment with out new dog. You were great with our old dogs. You told my husband if we didn’t like it to “find a new vet” so we did. The Gardiner vet will see us tomorrow for a check up and to see what we were concerned about (a sprain paw on the ice).
