I want to believe that Dr. Atluru tried her best. But the fact remains: from ages 4 to 13, I was prescribed high doses of stimulants under her care. Not only did that stunt my development, it caused damage that has taken a lifetime to unravel. What happened in that office didn’t help me—it harmed me. The doctor and the clinic prescribed the wrong medication and if I weren't a med doctor myself we could have had a tragedy! They were not enough quick to resolve the issue either. Lack of real care in medical system is a medical side effects of treating medicine as a business and only business!!!!! Dr. Atluru found my sons very rare genetic mutation that everyone else missed...she is the best.
Apathetic, callous and rude. Our son was born with down syndrome and hydrocephalus and was admitted to the NICU for over a month. During the most emotionally unbearable time of our lives, Dr. Atluru walks in and in the most smug and cavalier manner states, "yeah he's going to be low functioning".
