RecommendedI had to go to the ER with a sprained knee and I received excellent care from the moment they brought a wheelchair to my car. They were very polite and professional and Sophia Mitchel ARNP took excellent care of me and got my pain under control. Thanks Winter Haven Hospital, you guys are great. I want to give thanks to Winter Haven Hospital, They were great. I went into the ER because I was having chest pain. As the night was going on, they made me feel better. The treatment they gave me took the pain away. I stay over night and had the room to myself, I was the only patient in the room. I was send home the following day after the doctors check me and spoke to me. All the test came out negative. That put a smile on my face.
They don’t treat Patient good
My mom who sufferes from memory issues (83 years old) checked in wearing a family hierloom necklace in 18k gold and had to remove it for scans. Never got it back. It shows up in first scans but not in MRI. Hospital has had no follow up and seems not to care. Wouldnt let anyone in with her because of corona scare. Nothing we can do now, and no one cares. Unfortunate all the way around. Shame.
hometown hospital containing specialized units within, a cancer center and a heart center. newly remodeled since my last visit years ago. Emergency room and a 'fast track' type of not so urgent care, but still need help. over all cleanliness, extremely care (facing early Co-vid-19 virus in the US and globally for date reference of review)
the new heart floor worst patient care service not very caring at all to the patient the care techs have bad attitudes n don't know how to talk to people in a professional manner. Spent thousands of dollars they got the wrong diagnosis but they are very sweet
Our entire experience with Winter Haven Hospital was first class from pre registration to discharge. The entire staff was helpful and courteous. We highly recommend Winter Haven Hospital.
It is close by. I got excellent care. When I rang the buzzer the nurses were right there. The food was good. Overall. Good experience.
