I was referred to Dr. Shah because of the location of my tumor (located inside of my stomach) was to close to my esophagus to do laparoscopic removal. I was in shock and was hoping this surgeon could do the procedure but stated that he couldn't and thus referred me to Dr. Shah. My first meeting with Dr. Shah was interesting. Dr. Shah save my life he very caring and well educated on pancreas cancer. Him and his team at Emory are God sent to help people, they answer question and take their time with you. I will recommend Dr. Shah to anyone looking for caring, knowledgeable surgeon.
