As a Real Estate professional, I DO NOT recommend Winn Companies. I was staying at one of their locations during a divorce and was infested with cockroaches. I couldn't buy out of my lease for 10k, they laid down traps and accused me of lying. Management was so awful and demeaning. Other folks in the building had the same problem but a lot of them rely on a voucher program and were afraid to lose their housing. I’m pregnant and found German cockroaches in my apartment. Landlord refused to call pest control to come asap, told me to wait a week so I left and took my babies items and dogs with me. A week later, they only put down traps. Nothing to stop them from coming into my apartment and being all over my stuff. I called the resident hotline at Winnco FIVE TIMES and no one gets back to me. I had to call the board of health to come in!
Horrific is the only word that comes to mind when dealing with this corrupt management company. Thank God we no longer have to deal with this company.
