The check in staff and medical assistants and case manager nurses are amazing.... second to none. However, David Winmill is a nurse practitioner who does the bare minimum to help manage your diabetes. He blatantly pawns off the responsibility of his role to properly help and guide patients by saying "You have to do your own adjusting of insulin." Hold on to your wallet and check your chart! I've been a type 1 diabetic for 30 years. l Went to see Dr. Winmill. He talked a great line about setting me up with an insulin pump. He said he would reactivate my Metformin prescription and send in an order for a new transmitter battery for my blood test unit. He was also going to write me a prescription for a blood pressure medication. When I went to get my prescriptions a couple of days later I found that NOTHING had been done.
