When my husband and I unexpectedly rescued an injured kitten from the middle of Broadway, they were the first vet clinic we took her to. Despite being booked solid, Dr. Chris, Dr Sue and the team took time to examine her ((Dodger/Now Mookie)), treat her, and then offered to keep her under observation for the rest of the day. They did all of this and only charged us an office visit fee. I have taken my animals there for years. They are fantastic. When asked about a good vet office, I always say go there. Even had a friend say her only regret was not taking her dogs there sooner.
Our family has been going to Wingert for generations. They are caring, compassionate and wonderful. In the days of big business it is nice to be able to utilize a clinic that embraces small business values and treats every customer with top notch care and concern. I would not trust anyone else or anywhere else with my fur babies.
They were very friendly, I haven't learned their names yet. They took Layla my cat in to work us in with no appointment. They cared for Layla in a very loving way. I would recommend Wingert Animal Hospital to anyone that has an animal.
Our daughter, Taylor, worked there as a vet tech assistant for two summers while she was in school to be a vet at KState. The doctors there are great people. They were so very kind to her while she worked there and even after she left and went back to school. Thank you all for being so gracious to allow her to work under you. Your kindness will always be remembered!
I've been taking my pets to Wingerts for 14 years and have never been unhappy with the care and service. I, too, moved to the Northwest side but still choose to travel to Wingerts for my pets because I trust them the most with my "babies".
Dr. Sue and her amazing staff are the best anyone can ever want from a veterinarian. We lost our dear Tiggy and having to go through that was devastating. Dr. Sue did everything she could to save him but ultimately it was his time to go. In honor of his amazing life she made a donation to the Sedgwick county zoo in his honor.
