Great Doctor...I felt comfortable with Dr. Winger and he was very informative.
Simply Amazing! Thank you so much to Dr Winger and his awesome surgical and office staff! Dr Winger is warm and caring. Refreshing to see a Doctor in this day and age with a bedside manner like the doctors I grew up with. I never felt as though I was just another patient. Thank you again Dr Winger and all those that took care of me. I am forever grateful.
Dr. Winger is an amazing surgeon. When I was told I needed a second surgeon to take care of two hernias while my other Dr. was taking out a very large cyst along with both ovaries I checked Dr. Winger’s reputation by going to the people that he had operated on them and because I am in healthcare myself I was able to speak with people that are in the operating room with him. All of which gave great reviews! His incredible skill made my entire surgery able to be done laparoscopically. The Best!
Good bedside manner, but poor surgical skills and neglect after surgery when complications arose. I’m sorry to write this, but please look elsewhere for good care. Nice man, reckless physician.
Dr Winger did ER SX on my mom. Unfortunately she had stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. She had blockage because of the size of the tumor. He fixed that and put her in a more comfortable state. The cancer had metastized and his surgery allowed mama to live another month and to atleast see her children and my brother who had been gone to Afghanistan. Dr Winger is direct and to the point. Does not sugar coat. If you want straight answers and no beating around the mulberry bush he is that surgeon.
He performed what should have been an uncomplicated surgery on me. On that day, he made a mistake. The results were a sloppy job, and horrific pain for me. I will be paying for that mistake for the rest of my life. I wish I had never had the surgery. Please, do research before choosing a surgeon and trusting them with your life.
