The king bed was very comfortable! The room was clean and the towels were soft and fluffy. So, the essentials were covered, along with a great location by the train depot (within easy walking distance). Other than that, it is no frills of any kind. Our room door and bathroom door stuck and squeaked upon opening and closing. The room fan was obnoxiously loud, but that worked out for us as our room was by the elevator, and with an open balcony to the second floor, noise carried through easily. Room was simple, but clean. Airport shuttle unreliable and 30 min late. We signed up for their 7:00am airport shuttle time slot the night before, but shuttle didn’t show up to pick us up until 7:30am
Start with the positive - room was clean and if you're willing to walk less than a mile to downtown - it's a great walk and great proximity to Alaska railroad. Negative and there are a lot - staff is less than friendly or helpful - we had a backed up toilet that they refused to plunge - they handed plunger to my husband and said "return to front desk when you're done" UNBELIEVABLE!!! Also, the room was NOT supplied with toilet paper, Kleenex or soap. TV did not work - bathroom door did not close and the window was broken inc... read more
Old, musty, adequate. Nothing really bad but nothing really great. Close to train if traveling on.
