To be honest, I selected this hotel because it was the cheapest in Anchorage. I’m traveling by myself and I don’t require a great deal of extras. Just a clean place to stay. The hotel is undergoing renovations. The third floor where is stayed was “complete,” but there is clear evidence that the renovations are on going. Typically when a hotel is undergoing renovation, they try to hide it as best they can. The hotel is under a remodel, so scores are low due to that. Staff is excellent.
1. The staff..Jay, SHE WAS AMAZING! MY 1st time in Alaska and she helped us TREMONDOUSLY. The drivers, especially Dwayne came for us within minutes and was always personable and helpful. the evening front desk, I do not know his name, but he shared his excursions and showed us pictures of some amazing polar bears. He did not have to do that, he provided an inside look at Alaska. He also gave us some great points of interests to visit. 2.
