RecommendedDue to these overwhelming times, the WVH doctors are unable to answer all after hours calls. Because of this, WVH has enlisted the help of Wichita Emergency Vets to care for our clients & patients when we cannot. The Wichita Emergency number is given on our answering machine. WVH doctors & staff truly care for our patients.
They advertise to have an on call service. But it's a joke. They don't answer. I called at 5:15 pm. They close at 5. I got a call back at 7 am telling me to bring my dog in at 8 am which is their NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. MY DOG WAS ALREADY DEAD AT THAT TIME. 14 hours of no response.
It's easy to express concerns and to understand the response. The Vet takes his time and explains well.
The doctors and staff are a very caring and friendly! Both Vets are great with the 🐱 and 🐕 !Weve taken our pets there for years and have always taken care of our pets in a professional and caring way!So I highly recommend them to all pet owners!

Very friendly nice people, they love what they do and it shows. They take great care of my Star when we go into see them. This is definitely the place to take your fur babies.

Dr. Nelson was so nice when he came to our farm to have our old Boxer, Tinker put to rest. We are still dealing with the loss of our Best friend but Dr. made Tinker's transition so gentle. Thank You!
