Dr. Winegarden was great. I’d definitely recommend him. He was relatable, easy to talk to, and very professional. He did a great job making sure I understood the root of my mental health issues and the medications recommended to treat them. He also was great at listening to my wants, needs, and concerns throughout my visit. By far the best psychiatrist I’ve met with in my lifetime.
Dr Winegarden has been great! Very knowledgeable and helpful psychiatrist! Grateful to have him in my life.
I would give Dr. Winegarden 5 out of 5 stars for the excellent care he has provided. He is an extremely knowledgeable addiction psychiatrist. I started seeing Dr. Winegarden at the end of October 2019 after I detoxed off benzos and opiates. He has been instrumental in my recovery process and I have remained sober since this time thanks to his relentless support. I continue to be grateful for all of his support everyday. He is an extremely understanding and knowledgeable psychiatrist in all areas. I initially met him over 10 ... read more
Dr. Winegarden worked me into his schedule on a same day basis. He spent over an hour with me explaining my medications and conditions. He was very thorough and listened to everything I had to say. I highly recommend him as a physician!
If I could give this doctor zero stars, I would. When a close relative of mine decided to change doctors, Dr. Winegarden failed/refused to send a copy of the medication schedule to the new doctor (per the new doctor). As a result, my relative suffered ill health effects. He sided with my relative's spouse, who is a control freak, and interfered with prescribed care (PCA) from other doctors. Why? According to the control freak, Dr. Winegarden likes the spouse more than the patient.
If I could rate him zero stars I would. He was extremely arrogant and rude during the entire appointment. Only cared about his view point and never let me voice my concerns or opinions in my health. Kept talking over me. Overall, complete waste of time.
Saw this doctor six times: shortest wait was 15 minutes and that happened ONCE. All other visits waited AT LEAST 1.5-2.5 HOURS for this megalomaniac, God-complex doctor to grace me with his presence. Talk about arrogant? Yep, this is him. His front desk staff is uber rude--takes their lessons from him. Don't waste your time with this guy; I mean you'll really be wasting A LOT of time waiting. Doesn't believe in Benzodiazepines either. Really?!?! Ever heard of anxiety, doc? Med for FEAR? Quack!
Dr. Winegarden is as good and real as it gets. He will spend extra time with you if needed, he has 30+ years of experience and he tells it like it is. I have a profound level of respect for this Doctor. His assessment was spot on and he has given me the tools to heal and suceed. Strongly recommend!
