This is my first visit to this location. I've been to the Hillcrest location, and I like this one better. I really like the outdoor patio seating area. It's nice to hang out with friends outside and have a glass of wine. Although the airplanes taking off every 5-10 minutes gets a little annoying. They are located in the area that's called, Liberty Station, so it's right in the flight path of the SD Airport. This is an excellent place to sit outside for happy hour. It is offset from the street along a golf course so you can enjoy your adult beverages and outdoor seating without the car pollution. I know, planes aren't much better, but they are further away and look pretty. Still this place is right under the flight path and I've been annoyed with friends annoyed with that. I had the worst service in my life at Winesteals point loma with the manager CLAYTON. I started a networking group in San Diego. It was my first event ever.. and I was promised by Clayton that the back room was open for my event. He picked the night for me. So 4 days before my event.. I touched base with Clayton and the told me the room that he promised me fhe event was RENTED! Um thanks for no phone call!!! My girl friends and I went to Wine Steals last week and it was amazing! We ordered the Margherita pizza and a cheese plate with some wine and it was, hands down, the best pizza I have ever had! Happy Hour is almost all day too! You can literally sit there all day, enjoy the view of the golf course, and drink wine! What more can you ask for?! I recommend it to everyone!
