Excellent food and service.. Best Italian Beef since moving from the Chicago area many years ago.
The only reason I gave it a two is due to the following information. We have been going to windy city at least once a week since it opened. While they have struggled with speed of service and keeping serving staff and keeping it cool their food is good so we keep going. However last week when we went it was almost unbearably hot. My husband and I went to Windy City on Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy and we were taken care of immediately. Our server was awesome - very attentive to us. I was skeptical as I am from Chicago and moved to TN about 2 years ago. But the food was a welcome piece of Chicago home! This was our first visit here and it was a good one! The burger I had was cooked exactly how I requested and our server Crystal was spot on. We will definately be coming here again!
This place it's awesome! It was our first visit, and Crystal made us feel at home. She was on point, bubbly and great attitude! Not only that, but the food is great. I used to live in Chicago, and it's spot on!!
$30 for two sandwiches and two drinks is outrageous for the quality of product that we received. That is NOT Italian beef. Not even a halfass attempt at Italian beef. And a cheesesteak is always made with sliced ribeye on a flat iron not chopped up sirloin in sauté pan. I was thoroughly disappointed. Your menu in no way, shape, form or fashion represents anything about Chicago.
