Not sure where the sudden increase of positive reviews came from, but here’s what has been happening the last month. - Package lockers are frequently broken into and packages are stolen - Elevators break down on a weekly basis - It is normal to smell cigarettes and weed across the property, including inside one’s apartment - Hallways and stairwells are dirty. The new management team, Amy Leblanc and Leon, are phenomenal to work with. As with many communities, there are some issues that come with living in Houston and in apartments in general. Reviews from previous months may capture the frustration that came with previous staff members' responses to these issues, but with the new faces in the office things are handled extremely professionally. Windsor Shepherd is the place to make your home. The staff is always pleasant to interact with when visiting the property. The facilities and overall property are consistently clean and tidy. Additionally, we appreciate how they facilitate resident events to show appreciation for their tenants. Thank you for always making it a memorable experience and a place I would definitely call home.
I have lived here for two years. I have listed my thoughts on living here in the following Pros and Cons list: Pros: - Depending on which apartment you are looking for, the price is reasonably affordable. We had a 1bed1bath with a loft for the same price as a studio apartment would go for somewhere close by - Amenities are decent; the gym is usually unoccupied, the pool is well maintained with a decent pool and ping pong table.
