If I could give this apartment building zero stars, I absolutely would. From the moment I moved in, it has been nothing but a nightmare. First, the elevators are almost always out of service. If both happen to be working at the same time, consider it a rare stroke of luck. Then there’s the complete neglect of maintenance issues. I had mold in my bathroom ceiling for three months before they attempted to fix it—only to do a poor job. I have lived at Windsor Shepherd for just over 2 months and have been very satisfied with the apartments. The staff members, Amy and Ryan, are very easy to work with and they make sure you are 100% satisfied. Luckily, I have a balcony overlooking the pool which is an extremely lovely view. The gym/weight room is very nice and has a variety of different exercise, weights, and cardio equipment. The premises are kept very clean. The property is very secure and safe. A very beautiful experience!
I’m a current resident and wish I would’ve gone with my gut feeling and NOT moved here. Every new resident I’ve communicated with feels the same. There was a break in on the property with which makes me feel unsafe. Especially since a key fob is needed to get on the floors. When the power goes out, the water does too. There is no backup generator so the apartment was not livable for over a week for both the hurricane and the tornado.
