Here was my experience, from 9/11/19-9/24/19: I was having clusters of complex partial temporal lobe seizures and a PTSD reaction to being held in what was literally, by definition, a hostage situation when I arrived, where I was thrown into what they call "the back" for two days straight. I was a patient at Laurelwood and during my stay there was an episode of patients smoking crack and meth obviously this type of thing happens but for patients to be allowed to stay up all night in the TV room both male and females together I just don't understand why staff did not investigate the situation I feel patients should have to retire to their beds at a certain time obviously during detox sleeping can be an issue but other than getting out of bed to grab a snack which by the way snacks at Laurelwood include saltine... read more
