Im very happy with Dr. Skalos and his staff caring for and treating my 2 cats. Im thankful he opened his office in Cranberry-the office is convenient, clean (it's new)... a great fit for my pets and our family.
I can honestly say that I have never in all the years I have been working in Office Administration run across a more dedicated, honest, caring and hard working person then Dr. RJ Skalos DVM. He has managed to open a practice in a booming part of the metro Pittsburgh area here in Cranberry Twp flawlessly. He is offering Services that are at unbeatable rates and cares for your pets just as much as you do. His experience with Emergency Care easily translates to the General Practice setting. His team of Vet Techs have Knowledge ... read more
Had our first appointment and Windrose today. 2 weeks ago I stopped in to get a feel for the place, and after talking to Dr. Skalos and the staff I knew it was the place for us. We have a 16+ year old cat who truly hates to leave home. The office is a quick ride away, she was treated the care and respect. In less than 30 min we were back out the door and on our way home! No real waiting and a bill that won't impact our budget. Thanks for opening up an office we can use for all our animals' needs!
We had an incredible experience. Our cat sneaks out of the house and when I found him limping on day I thought he broke his leg. Even though they weren't open Dr. Skalos allowed me to text him and see if our cat needed immediate attention or could wait. After waiting, we went in to their charming office. Dr. Skalos was good with my daughter who was so worried about her kitty, but it turned out to be a cyst which medications fixed. I texted several more times always receiving a quick response and our kitty healed quickly. We ... read more
Any animal hospital that helps animals I'm for as long as they treat the animals with the love and respect they deserve!!!!!
I called this morning because my shepherd mix has been having stomach problems the last few days and needed her rabies vaccination. They got me in immediately asking if I could make it that moment. When we walked through the door, the staff were very warm and friendly. They took us to a room where they vet tech asked me questions and treated my dog very well taking care of her anxiousness while looking her over. Dr. Skalos came in after and sat on the floor when he realized that rascal was anxious about being there to look h... read more
Dr. Skalos and the staff were wonderful with our cat Zeus. It was his first check up since we adopted him. Lovely facility. Bright and cheerful. Everyone took their time with us and you can tell they love their jobs and the animals. I highly recommend Windrose Animal Hospital.
Awesome staff. Great hours! Cant go wrong with $5-10 vaccines. They take their time and aren't money hungry like every other vet in the area.
Best Vet visit ever! Awesome, genuine caring staff and Dr. A rarity these days. Good advice on optional tests but not the high pressure (guilt trip) for not having them done. Highly recommended.
