Dr Skalos was the only vet who would us on short notice to fix a broken nail on my baby. He has my vote! Very knowledgeable, friendly and loves all 3 of my babies!
I have been going to Windrose since September and cannot say enough about Dr. Skalos and his staff. They are all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Skalos is very knowledgeable and answers all of my questions. I usually have quite a few. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful care given to my two little girls.
Haven't been this satisfied with a vet for a long time. Our pug with cancer, and a foster that needs dental work....answered every question, did not rush us at all, extremely articulate in the options that he gave us. It is an hour drive for us to get there, worth every minute of travel time. Wishing this new business to achieve the success it deserves.
We have been looking for a new vet & I'm very excited that we found Windrose! I sent an email to their practice with some questions about their prices a couple of weeks ago and they got back to me immediately. The office staff have been so friendly & responsive. We had a vet tech appointment this evening & Dr. Skalos came out to introduce himself. He couldn't have been nicer. Our dog loved him! I recently moved back to Pittsburgh from the eastern part of the state and was in need of a veterinary hospital for my dog Gabby. Windrose was recommended and I began taking Gabby there. The treatment and care that she received was wonderful. This past week, Gabby past due to age and a progressive illness. The compassion and caring demonstrated by Dr. Skalos and his staff was beyond belief. Staff was friendly & loved my kitten. Dr. RJ was very informative & answered all my questions. The building was decorated nicely & very inviting. This was my first visit & will be going back when need be. Highly recommend Dr. RJ & his staff.
