RecommendedWindmill Manor staff has been taking really good care of Mom for about 6 months now. She is in their Memory Court! They were able to get her in really quick as I was running out of options for someone to care for my mom while I worked. My family are eternally grateful for the entire staff especially in Memory Court! Their love, patience & understanding are top notch! Much love & support to all those who are caretakers for the awful disease of ALZS.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE. THEY KEEP BAD EMPLOYEES WHO TREAT RESIDENTS BAD AND FIRE THE GOOD ONES THAT THE BAD ONES TELL LIES ABOUT TO MANAGEMENT AND BECAUSE THEY WONT DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM. THE BAD WORKERS ARE FRIENDS WITH MANAGEMENT SO THEY GET WHAT THEY WANT EVERYTIME. ITS UNPROFESSIONAL AND DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR ANY OF YOUR FAMILY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Mom is in Memory Court. She has made some friends and she is better cared for that we were able to do.
Our father in law was there for 3 weeks....he had a really nice room mate and they took care of all aspects of his rehabilitation. We were very pleased with our experience there! I am not even 100% sure my Father in law really wanted to go home?!
Windmill Manor staff took care of Dad for exactly 2 years in their Memory Court! He was a handful let me tell you! He was on a waiting list for many places & we were even turned away from our local facility! We had NO idea what to do but Windmill took the Mean Dean challenge! We are eternally grateful for the entire staff especially in Memory Court! Their love, patience & understanding were top notch! He went to Heaven last October & I still want to stop for a visit!! Our 96 year old mother is in the Memory Unit at Windmill Manor. The staff is excellent in caring for Mom, and appreciate all they do for her and the others . We can't imagine how hard it would be to care for several people that do not remember a lot, with and some demanding issues. God Bless all that care loving for Mom and "her new friends".
