This company is growing and selling monarch killing plants. They are exploiting an industry that literally exists to save monarchs. It is sick and wrong. We purchased 2 plants from Lowe’s in St. Petersburg 3 weeks ago and one had a chrysalis infected with parasitic chalcid wasps. Now 2 days ago we bough 4 more plants to feed our hundred caterpillars and they are all dying due to pesticides. This is not ok and needs to be stopped. STOP POISONING THE MONARCHS!!!!!
RecommendedMy daughters and I bought 3 Windmill Farms milkweed plants last week from Lowe's and they were covered with caterpillars! we already have 3 chrysalis! What an awesome experience it has been with my daughters watching them grow and prepare to become butterflies! Thank you Windmill Farms for helping me make lasting memories with my girls.

Last week, I purchased 40 of their plants, at Lowe’s. I was told the plants were pesticides free. Sadly, the plants Wiped out my monarch caterpillar colony and also my daughter’s and a neighbor’s. Lowes needs to stop buying from this supplier!!!
You could monitor your phones or facebook. Been trying to reach your business concerning neonictoid use on your flowering plants that is killing my bees and butterflies.
Just can’t believe you’d use pesticides on plants known to be hosts to monarchs and also attract bees. Silky gold milkweed purchased at Lowe’s last week has killed every monarch that has eaten it.
STOP treating your milkweed! You are KILLING monarchs! Do NOT purchase Windmill Farms milkweed from Lowe’s!!
Please stop using toxic pesticides on Milkweed and nectar plants! Thus kills bees and butterflies.
