Our garage roof was leaking, so I called three roofers and got three estimates. Wind Proof's bid was the highest, but when I dug deeper Wind Proof understood our unique problems that the others had not bothered to address. The other contractors even left off gutters and downspouts, telling me I'd have to find another contractor to install those. In the end, Wind Proof's bid was comparable, cost wise, to the other bids. I called and talked to the owner because I needed a time-sensitive opinion and quote on a roof replacement. The person I talked to, got all my information and made an appointment to be there the next day. I even sent him pictures of the roof to make everything quick and easy. The person never showed up, didn't answer any of my calls or emails, and now I'm scrambling to get a quote before I am locked into a house purchase. Very disappointing amd unprofessional. Recently in a huge windstorm we were without power for 4 days. After the storm I was feeling pretty good that we did not get some of the damage that our neighbors experienced until I went out in the yard and discovered a lot of little pieces of shingle laying all over. Bruno and his crew are terrific. He has worked with us on two projects. One was a roof repair as part of the purchase of a home. It was a really tight timeline and Bruno managed to get the work done in order for the sale to proceed. On a second occasion with a different roof, he was the one roofing company that actually responded to an urgent roof leak problem.
