my daughter who is 7 sliced her arm at 8 this evening. went to the emergency room and waited and wait and waited.. no one would see her. the waiting room was empty! no one in there. I will never return to Winchester medical center ER ever again. at this point martinsburg is better at seeing their patients. I absolutely hate Winchester medical center. they did the same crsp to me when I was pregnant and having labor pains. waited 20+ hours to see a freaking doctor. RecommendedI have a recurring abdominal issue I normally go to Hopkins for since I am complex etc. the ambulance took me first to War this time and I was so happy with my quick care and professional treatment. While I did end up being sent to Hopkins the Ambulance service transported me there. I would have ended up waiting 7-8 hrs in ER there but I was treated immediately at War with scan and medicines I needed. So grateful to have this hospital in our community! The nurses and ER doc was top notch keeping me updated often.
there nasty to ppl don't have any patients with ppl and they diagnosis ppl wrong and god for bid go inside there with medicade cause then they treat you like trash and this is so true cause it not only happened to me but other' I know have said the same thing and they are definitely under staffed and they take forever and you actually watch them standing around talking to other nurse's about the patients. I definitely recommend giving to West Va or Charllottesville
