Discharge process is ridiculously to long and you need to hire more transporters.
RecommendedI spent several days at the ER observation floor. The doctors, nurses and staff provided the best care. I do highly recommend.
Worst hospital in my opinion. My father was diagnosed with cancer in July and passed right before Thanksgiving. He was in the hospital several times overnight and received horrible care while there. To top it off my Dad was in between jobs at the time of his diagnosis and didn't have insurance and the hospital refused to provide assitance saying my parent's didnt qualify because they actual worked their whole lives and never used the "system" before so no hand outs for hard working people. Your doctors and nurses saved my life. I couldn't be more grateful. I'm also a recovering addict, so sometimes I don't get listened too, or treated equally. BUT, here at Winchester Medical I have NOT once been treated unfairly. Your doctors and nurses go above and beyond their job. I'm so serious when I say your hospital and staff are WONDERFUL. Thank you, with all my heart.
My dad had open heart surgery this past week to replace his aortic valve. In the midst of a very scary operation, the caring and compassionate staff were very impressive. During the surgery, our family was kept apprised of updates from the OR by a nurse, Ty Strauch. She made herself available for any questions or concerns, guided us to the waiting room, including explaining directions and parking recommendations, and just generally providing reassuring updates. If you are sick, find somewhere else to die.
I am owed $519.13. I was offered a "chance" to prepay at 10% discount. The EOB came back below the estimate. I have now called several times and have been told they have to file a correction, that they will call me back, and then sent to a supervisors voice mail. Do NOT ever prepay for a surgery at this hospital. It is a complete con!!!!
