Great Neighborhood Restaurant Winberies is a great neighborhood restaurant. I have eaten there with my family on many occasions and love the food, atmosphere and service. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The Bistro Burger is a family favorite and the char-grilled tilapia is great. There are specials everyday and a variety of menu options. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The service is fast and friendly.

The waitstaff, especially Mary Welsh, is especially attentative and knowledgeable about the food, wine and daily specials. Brunch = La Quinta quality – I went here after I had heard the brunch here was good. I should have known, since it's a recommendation for a place in oak park. The brunch was 3-star hotel quality. Something you would get at a Marriott, Holiday Inn, La Quinta etc for free. Normal business fair, with a guy making omlets and another crepes. Terrible customer service. They think they are doing you a favor. Oak Park now charges 25 cents per 10 minutes to park on the street till 8:00 p.m. – We have been going here for years because they are convenient. Saturday night we had finally had it. I ordered a meal I order regularly. I asked to substitute these wonderful potatoes. They said they would up-charge-I said fine.
