Menu changed too much! Used to drive for Hummus and their stroganoff! Both taken off menu! Too bad!!

Cajun mac is my go to every time
Not a great experience. Waiter brought us the wrong beer. He then asked if I wanted the beer I ordered or if the one he brought would be fine. Then he forgot to ring us our second round ( I ended up going up to the bar and ordering our drinks). The cheese on the Irish nachos was not melted. The spinach dip was watered down and more of a soup. Did I mention how bad our server was? Also when we got there, we were the only patrons. Terrific restaurant with great food and wonderful decor. Our server, who I think was named Zak, was very attentive and helpful. We plan to return next time we’re in town - along with that cupcake place a few blocks away!
I have been going in Winberries since 1985, with friends, dates, meeting friends, seeing fellow coworkers or associates in the culinary field work there like Mr Carnevale from Annex, or Danielle Dore from Nassau Inn! For 6 years i was at Nassau Inn, drinking with coworkers as we expected the winter storms. I don't drink like i did, and if i listen to music it's because i feel like hearing something delightful and worth meaning! I brought my nieces and her new born. Myself, my starving husband, my 19 month old daughter, and hungry group of friends were not invited to one of the MANY tables available, because they were "still seating for dinner" when we wanted FOOD, apps, dinners and drinks. We were told everyone HAD to order a dinner. Guess apps don't count here...Just a heads up on the inappropriate and unfamily friendly atatmosphere at Winberies.
