We had the home inspected by Win before closing and went with the most complete and expensive inspection. We were recommended Win because they were supposed to be very good but our experience was not, PLEASE BE AWARE. Here what happened to us: After closing found out leaks in the AC which penetrated through the Kitchen ceiling, one part of the flooring that they assured us was fine was rotten until the siding of the house and required extensive repair. Wouldn't recommend for home inspection, especially when buying from out of state. Not only did we have to ask them to go back and actually look at the attic area: that they said they couldn't get to because the owner had moving boxes in the way, we personally asked them to move the boxes pretty easily, but Now after moving in and actually seeing the items inspected we are having to spend a large amount of money on making our deck actually safe. I had a longer review typed out but will spare everyone with the short version- WIN has cost me thousands and counting on things that could and should have been caught on the eye test. While WIN was quick to point out the small things that don’t matter, somehow the exterior water leaks, pest infestations, MOLD, and the structural issues didn’t make the cut. Just don’t hire them. Waste of $500.
Matt was super thorough, provided pictures and detailed explanation about the house that I’m buying. I feel like I have a good understanding of what could be potential future issues- With his inspection I really feel like know the positives and negatives what I’m buying.
