I had a down payment and a signed contract on a car and despite looking me in the eye and promising they (the owner and his salesman) would call me if someone else was interested in it they sold it to someone else. No phone call. I only found out it had been sold when I noticed it was off the website. I CALLED THEM to find out what was going on and the owner just said ‘someone walked in here and paid cash so we sold it to them.’ They lied and didn’t honour the contract, the handshake, or their word.
