Bought a CRV that was advertised as having a clean title. The car fax showed clean title. When we went to title the car the DMV said it was a salvage vehicle and the title work had not been done on the car. The dealer would not give us our money back. He charged us full price for a clean titled car. We lost $4000 on the price of the car. Avoid dealing with this crook!
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. Jay Wilson sold me a used van that three days later needed a $2700 repair. The three month warranty he gave me would not cover it. Once he realized the warranty wasn’t going to cover it, he ignored my phone calls. Both the shop and warranty inspector said he had to have known the used van needed this repair.
